Stoke Sauna Company: Your Minnesota Sauna Builder
Jedd Kangas built his first sauna in 2017, and it stuck. What started as a passion project during his construction management days at Northern Michigan University grew into a craft he couldn’t put down. After a few years in civil construction, he went out on his own — and the work kept coming back to saunas. Stoke Sauna Company took shape in 2022 with a simple purpose: build exceptional saunas, treat people right, and keep the culture alive. Laura Kangas leads marketing, communications, and design, bringing the same care to the brand that Jedd brings to every build.
Jedd has hand-built 150+ Finnish style saunas and refined his craft across every one. We grow deliberately — because the quality of every build matters more than the volume. We’ve brought Jake on as shop hand, and he’s been a natural fit, eager to grow into the craft.
We bring sauna culture to our customers at an honest price — without sacrificing quality or custom design. Most of our work comes through word of mouth — our reputation is what sells. When you choose Stoke Sauna Co, you won’t get a cheaply made kit sauna or a structure built by a beginner — you get a sauna built by a craftsman, and a builder who’s invested in your sauna experience long after delivery.

At Stoke Sauna, we believe high-quality sauna culture should be accessible and enduring. We approach our builds in two ways:
Our Base Models
We’ve developed a series of curated Base Models (ranging from 6'x6' to 8'x16') that serve as the perfect foundation. These models are designed with traditional Nordic principles and include premium features—like IKI wood-fired or electric Wi-Fi stoves—at no extra cost. They offer a streamlined path to a world-class sauna experience.
Custom Builds
If you have a specific vision, we specialize in Custom Builds. Whether it’s a sauna on a permanent concrete foundation, an interior spa conversion, or a mobile trailer sauna, we work as your collaborator to design a space that fits your specific landscape and lifestyle.

While we are proud to be a Minnesota-based builder, the “Stoke” lifestyle isn’t limited by state lines. We offer free delivery within 50 miles of Delano, MN, but we have successfully shipped our saunas to clients across the United States. If you are outside of Minnesota, don’t hesitate to reach out—we can work with you to determine the logistics and shipping details to ensure your sauna arrives safely at your driveway, wherever you call home.
