Key note: Detail which upgrades you’d like included on your custom sauna quote. Your quote will be itemized, so you will be able to prioritize upgrades along with your budget.
1. Stove/Heater Options
We work with wood fired, electric and propane fueled heaters from many top of the line manufacturers. Below are specific stoves we have worked with and recommend. If you would like to go with a different option, let us know and we can make that happen.
This traditional style of heat requires more effort, but allows the user to completely control the type of heat with a balance of temperature and humidity.
Mini-IKI plus

Now included in our base model pricing. Hand made in Finland, IKI boasts it’s high rock mass surrounding the furnace and stove pipe for the most comfortable heat. Read more at:
Kuuma (classic, bluflame models)
Hand forged in Tower, MN, the Kuuma stove is sturdy and efficient. This stove fits in our 8’x8′, 8’x12′, 8’x14′, and 8’x16′ base model saunas. Read more here:
Tylo

Our old base model wood stove offers an entry level basic stove. We have a limited supply left, if opting for this stove you can take a $800 discount from base model price
These are a convenient option to heat your sauna and can be fit with Wi-Fi control capabilities
IKI

.IKI pillar 6-kw electric stove with Wi-Fi controls is now an option included with our base models at no additional cost.

2. Door Options
Our doors are custom made. Here are our most popular designs.
A) Cedar with window

This option is included with our base model at no additional cost. Pull handle style is used when the exterior door enters directly into the sauna room. A lever handle with key will be used for an exterior door if there is a change room.
B) Full cedar door and handle

This option is our standard for doorways in between a change room and sauna room. This is included with our base model at no additional cost.
C) Full length glass with CVG (clear vertical grain) frame

3. Stove Surround Options
A stove surround is necessary for wood and propane stoves to provide heat protection. This is not a necessary option for electric stoves, here it provides aesthetics and less maintenance over time.
A) Corrugated galvanized steel, dry stack tile base

4. Interior Lighting Options
12 V lighting comes standard with our base model saunas. Off-grid? No problem, request solar powered lighting.

This comes with base models at no additional cost. This light fixture is not visible at standing level, as it is positioned directly under the bench.

Specify if you would like strip along 1 or 2 walls.

6. Window Options
Windows can be ordered to any size. We use tempered dual pane insulated glass, and custom make the cedar frame to withhold the extreme temperature swings of the sauna.

7. Interior Paneling Options
Let's clad your sauna room and/or changing room.
Western red cedar
Included in all our base model saunas. Western red cedar is naturally rot resistant, holds up well to moisture, heat and humidity all while offering a calming scent. Select tight knot grade.
Clear grade cedar
Easy on the eyes, harder on the wallet. Same natural durability and scent as the standard grade cedar.
Black taika
A unique look paired with contrasting bench accents.

8. Bench Layout and Style Options
A) Standard bench
Upper and lower bench standard design included in base model with no additional cost.
B) L- shaped benches
Added seating with this layout.
C) Dual benches
Upper and lower benches on opposite walls.
D) Dual slatted benches
Upper and lower benches on opposite walls, slat style.
E) L-shaped slatted benches
F) Skirted upper bench
Clean transition from upper to lower bench.
9. Roofline Options
All of our interior sauna ceilings are flat, regardless of exterior roofline.
A) Shed style roof
All of our base models include a shed style roofline with steel roofing at no additional cost. 6″ overhang is our standard option. Interior ceilings are flat.
B) Gable roof with overhang and cedar supports
Upgrade to gable roofline with cedar supports. Interior sauna room ceiling is flat, change room ceiling is vaulted.
C) Gable roof with covered porch full wall supports
Extra privacy and an opportunity to showcase wood accents. Interior sauna room ceiling is flat, change room ceiling is vaulted.
D) Shed style roof with extended overhang
Specify depth and which direction you want the overhang to extend. Interior ceilings are flat.
E) Shed style roof with extended overhang over porch and full privacy wall
Specify depth desired and extras such as (pictured): soffit lighting and hooks. Interior ceilings are flat.
F) Shed style roof with extended overhang over wrap around porch +2 walls
Specify depth desired and extras i.e. lighting, hooks, benches. Interior ceilings are flat.
G) Gable roof with 4' covered porch, cedar posts and beam
Privacy wall and bench are extras, specify if wanting this included. Interior sauna room ceiling is flat, change room ceiling is vaulted.

Continuous slat style soffit, wall, and porch. Interior ceilings are flat.

13. Flooring Options
A) Standard cedar decking with air gaps

Included in our base models. We favor this design as its highly functional and promotes a healthy sauna environment. It breathes and drains well as a sauna should, allowing the sauna to dry completely to prevent moisture issues. The natural wood feels great, even in negative winter temperatures.
B) Insulated, sloped rubber flooring with drain + venting
A clean looking upgraded flooring option. We slope the flooring to a drain and add additional wall venting to ensure the breathability of the sauna.

The air gaps in our decking base provide ventilation and drainage for your sauna sessions, but added adjustable airflow provides customizable comfort and aids in drying out after sauna sessions.
